Blanche gewinnt drei Karten für die Premiere von Burt Reynolds' neuem Film und die anschließende Privatparty. Begeistert bucht sie für sich, Dorothy, Rose und Sophia Zimmer im Miami Beach Hotel, obwohl für Sophia keine Karte übrig ist. Natürlich wählt Blanche das Hotel, in dem die meisten Männer anzutreffen sind. Am Abend der Premierenparty überredet Blanche ihre Freundinnen, zunächst noch einen Drink an der Bar zu nehmen.
